About Oleta River State Park

Oleta River State Park Mountain Biking Trails
Who would have thought that Oleta River State Park trails are just minutes from downtown Miami? You can ride the 14 miles of mountain bike trails without ever leaving the city! Oleta State Park has trails for every skill level, even 3 miles of paved paths for the easy riders. There are more challenging trails for the adrenaline junkies with steep ramps and stairs throughout the course.
Although there is no elevation gain, the roots and rocks in this system can challenge an experienced mountain biker. The trails have signage and are shaded mostly under a robust canopy, very little sun exposure. Suitable for beginners but some parts like Gator Bank or Oyster Ridge will get your heart pumping. The experience of the trails can vary greatly depending on who is using them.
As you ride the trails in one of the largest urban park in Florida you can see what Miami looked like before it was developed.

Paddling the Oleta River
