Although it is most well known for its beautiful, sprawling gardens, Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park is home to some pretty entertaining mountain bike trails as well. Riders who are in need of a cardio boost, or those just getting started in the sport will benefit most from the 6 miles of single track that this trail offers. With mostly flat terrain and no surprise obstacles, Alfred B Maclay mountain bike trail is a place you want to be to take a casual ride or catch some high-speed rides through the forest.  

The Lake Overstreet Trails path system that follows the old natural-surfaced roadways as it meanders through hardwood forests and around Lake Overstreet. The western part of the park now has about six miles of single-track biking paths that are off-road.

A wide range of activities, including hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding, are available along these routes.
There are three entry sites around the park’s perimeter, in addition to the main entrance on Maclay Road, from which visitors can access the trails. Each of the outer entrances has an honor station where you can pay to utilize the Lake Overstreet Trails.
