Mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts should visit for its diverse sceneries, well-maintained trails, and distinctive terrain.

Caloosahatchee Regional Park Mountain Biking

With 11 miles of smooth, winding singletrack, Caloosahatchee Regional Park offers a beginner-friendly trail system with optional intermediate loops for those looking to add variety. The main trail consists of two stacked loops, beginning with a flat meadow section that leads into wooded lowlands with three optional climbs and a short loop at the final ascent’s peak.

Trail direction changes monthly between clockwise and counterclockwise. In a clockwise direction, the route follows a ridge alongside a creek, passing a picnic area before reaching the back loop—a shaded section with pepper trees, a short rocky area, and three high-water bridges.

For riders looking to test their skills, optional loops off the back loop include a skills area with bridges, jumps, and a skinny. The Far East Loop, a two-mile stretch along a 15-foot ridge, features gentle drops and climbs beneath a dense pepper tree canopy.

The terrain throughout the park consists of gentle elevation changes, packed dirt paths, and a few sandy sections, making it perfect for those who enjoy a relaxed yet engaging ride. Expect wide, flowing turns, minimal roots and rocks, and optional side trails that add variety without increasing difficulty.

Wow! Super fun track

March 5, 2025

Really well built MTB track. Nothing too tough but really fun to cruise on. Very good variety of scenarios (Savanah’s, Up and down along river, in woods, mown areas). Saw a little snake. Pretty darn fun.
