San Felasco State Park is just as rich in nature as it is in history. It is one of the few mature forests left in Florida, offering a wide variety of things to see, from many types of trees, springs to animals such as bobcats and gray foxes. The site itself was used by Native Americans in the past before turning over to the Spanish as the site for a mission. The 20 miles of trail systems travel through diversely forested areas, offering plenty to see on the cross country trails. There are trails for a variety of skill levels, appeasing both riders with sightseeing in mind and riders with a taste for adrenaline pumping elevation changes and technical challenges.

30 miles of excellent XC
No drops, no jumps, no berms, but lots and lots of small punchy climbs and decents. It’s about as hilly as you can get in Florida. Want to get 1,000 to 2,000 feet of total elevation in 20 miles? You can do it here! And it’s very biologically rich. Not just live oaks. You’ve got Florida Maple forests, Spruce Pine, Swamp Chestnut Oak, and more. It’s a great mix of old biodiverse North Florida upland habitats.
