Savannas Preserve State Park – Port St. Lucie, FL

Savannas is ideal for beginners, families, or anyone looking to unwind on two wheels. The trails here are mostly wide and hard-packed, winding through serene wetlands where you’ll likely spot turtles, birds, and native plants. A few sandy patches add light challenge, but the overall vibe is relaxed and scenic. It’s a multi-use trail system, so expect to share the space with hikers and wildlife watchers.

Fort Pierce Mountain Bike Trails – Fort Pierce, FL

This private trail system is open to the public with a $25 annual membership—worth every penny if you’re into fast, technical riding. Maintained by the Airborne MTB Club, these trails cut through dense forest and deliver steep climbs, sharp turns, and punchy features. Direction changes daily, so the experience never gets stale. Halpatiokee Regional Park – Stuart, FL

This hidden gem along the South Fork of the St. Lucie River offers 7.5 miles of twisty singletrack packed with character. Broken into 12 segments, each trail has its own feel—from wooden bridges and tight switchbacks to ridge climbs and rooty sections. Flat but full of flow, Halpatiokee is perfect for intermediate riders and those looking for a scenic, well-designed trail system close to town.

Camp Murphy MTB Trails – Hobe Sound, FL

Located within Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Camp Murphy is set on the former grounds of a top-secret WWII training base. Today, it’s a sandy, scrubby singletrack zone with trails for all skill levels, including flow sections, tech features, and a well-built pump track. With open skies and fast lines, this system is perfect for progression—and it’s backed by excellent park amenities.
