MALABAR MOUNTAIN BIKING
A nature lover’s delight, the Malabar Scrub Sanctuary Mountain Bike Trails journey through miles of endangered and preserved environment including pine flatwoods and depression marshes. Expect to catch beautiful glimpses of water and plant life on your ride, along with some technically challenging rough terrain! Malabar Scrub Sanctuary offers some areas with narrow wooden bridges that require more skill than a beginner may have bargained for. Perfect for intermediate riders (and advanced riders with a weak spot for nature) Malabar Scrub Sanctuary is just a fun of a ride as it is beautiful.
Additionally, there is now a connector trail that goes along the south side of the canal that leads into the Grapefruit Trails system. So you can get a two for one visit!
This trail was built and is maintained by Brevard Mountain Bike Association (BMBA), so please check them out and give them thanks for all the hard work they do to maintain the trail.
